Industrial composite rebar BASIS Quartz® - high-strength rebar with quartz coating, is manufactured using chemically resistant ECR-fiberglass and a special composition of epoxy resins. The strength of BASIS Quartz® is 3-4 times higher than the strength of steel rebar (1200-1500 MPa). The power rod is formed in dies with subsequent winding with an anchor layer, applying a quartz coating and polymerization of the product, which determines its excellent physical and mechanical characteristics. Due to the applied quartz coating and the covering layer, the reinforcement has excellent adhesion strength to concrete, which allows it to fully realize its strength characteristics.
